Cassandra M. Law shared: Friday, January 19, 2024, I experienced the professional honor of my lifetime. I was appointed by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. to serve as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Administration / Operations, Security and Preparedness. I took the oath of office and was sworn-in by VA Secretary Denis McDonough and honored to have Deputy Secretary Tanya Bradsher and Chief of Staff Kimberly Jackson in the ceremony. This leadership team is inspired and I feel blessed to know and join them. I’m excited for this incredible privilege and to continue supporting the best mission in the government delivering world-class care and benefits for Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors.
