Armed with perspective gained over an extensive career in federal service including more than a decade with VA and recent experience with OPM, this leader takes on a new role.
Liz Floto is now listed as Senior Human Centered Designer with Reingold.
In sharing the news Liz posted:
I truly thought I would retire from federal service. That was my plan. But like many federal employees this year, that wasn’t in the cards.
After a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to begin a new chapter and have separated from federal service at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This decision wasn’t an easy one. I’m deeply grateful for the people I’ve worked alongside and the mission we’ve supported together.
I wanted to get back to two things: working with Veterans and practicing human-centered design. I’m excited to share that last week I joined Reingold, Inc. as a Senior Human-Centered Designer, where I’ll be working on Connected Health Strategy with the Digital Health Office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. I’m excited to be working again with Boyd Loehr, Toni Hightower and Kim Bielicki and other friendly faces!
Thank you to my former colleagues at OPM and across government who have been part of my journey. I’ve learned so much from you. I look forward to staying connected and continuing to serve in new ways.
