Anit-Fraud and Risk Management Solutions Task Order. Implementation of Anti-Fraud Assessment Recommendations to Protect Social Security Administration from Payment Errors, Fraud, and Abuse.
We seek approval of a JOFOC to negotiate on a sole-source basis with MITRE to consult with SSA on anti-fraud techniques and tools and provide a technical control assessment to protect SSA from payment errors, fraud, and abuse. MITRE operates the Center for Enterprise Modernization (CEM), which is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) under contract number TIRNO-99-D-00005 with the Department of the Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as the Sponsor and the Social Security Administration (SSA) as a Co-Sponsor. Option Period IX under this FFRDC contract has a period of performance end date of September 30, 2028.
