This US Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center – Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC) award is for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Technical Support Services (TSS) (mission operations support) for the USGS EROS Center. Approximately 120 of the 600+ member workforce at EROS are USGS employees, with the majority of remaining (400+) support personnel being TSS contractors. This contract has a broad scope which includes satellite operations of the current Landsat missions (Landsat 7, Landsat 8, and Landsat 9) and any future Landsat missions and the development and operation of the ground systems. The support includes science, data and information, systems operations and maintenance, engineering, satellite data reception and operation, and communications and outreach. This includes software development, systems engineering, project management, computer operations, systems administration, network engineering, satellite data acquisition, scanning of aerial photography, long-term data preservation, data distribution, data management, the use of AI technologies to improve public services and operations, and scientific applications of satellite remote sensing data.
