FedTec, through its joint venture, New Generation Solutions, has been awarded a $3.79 million contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide IT integration support for the Taxpayer Experience (TXE) program. This task order, issued under the GSA 8(a) STARS III contract vehicle, will enhance the IRS’s ability to deliver streamlined and secure services to taxpayers nationwide. The contract, set to begin on September 19, 2024, will focus on improving the integration of key IT systems to support taxpayer self-service capabilities and reduce operational inefficiencies.
