CFT was awarded a $6.7M T4NG task order to provide Configuration Management Department (CMD) Support on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs!
CMD supports the implementation of system-specific configuration management (CM) standards, guidance, frameworks, and utilities to automate manual CM activities in support of secure system development at VA. This includes modernizing configuration control policies, tracking baseline configurations, documenting and standardizing system and component inventories, and monitoring and reporting changes to system settings and software within VA.
“We recognize this effort demands a deep understanding of Federal cybersecurity mandates, enterprise software engineering, CM toolsets, VA’s complex IT environment, and CM operational constraints,” said Executive Vice President Sean Kelly. “We look forward to helping CMD mature and scale CM processes and tools, promote transparency, reduce audit findings, and ensure traceable, secure, and high-quality software delivery across VA’s digital ecosystem.”
