Aquia Nava II LLC Announces Support of $32 Million VA “Lifestage Benefits Crew” Contract

Aquia Inc., a cloud and cybersecurity digital services firm, today announced its support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) “Lifestage Benefits Crew” contract. Aquia Nava II LLC — a joint venture between Aquia Inc. and Nava Public Benefit Corporation — will serve as a subcontractor to Coforma to support the 3-year, $32 million contract.

Together, the teams will work with VA’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) to:

  • Eliminate burden and simplify complexity for Veterans, caregivers, and VA staff, making the application and claims process easier and more intuitive.
  • Build trust through transparency, reliability, and accurate expectation setting to ensure Veterans, Veteran advocates, and staff feel informed and confident in the system.
  • Leverage end-to-end structured data infrastructure to improve data flow, streamline processes, and ensure accurate processing of claims.
  • Ensure consistency and interoperability across user-facing experiences on the website and mobile application, as well as staff-facing tools.
  • Contribute to and leverage the VA platform and design system to maintain a unified and scalable approach to digital services, fostering reusability and enhancing the user experience.

“As a service-disabled, Veteran-owned small business, we understand firsthand the frustration Veterans face when they encounter complex benefit processes,” said Chris Hughes, co-founder and chief executive officer of Aquia. “We’re honored to be involved in building digital solutions that will not only modernize the forms, but fundamentally improve the experience for both Veterans and VA staff. By creating intuitive, reliable systems with end-to-end data integration, we’ll be helping to ensure that no Veteran misses out on benefits due to technical barriers or confusion.”
