Air Force IT leader Kevin Twibell joins Department of War CIO Office

In posting the news Kevin shared:

After 24 years with the Department of the Air Force, including the last two as Director of Special Access Program IT, I’m closing a chapter that has been deeply meaningful. Together, we built a highly capable, forward-leaning team that challenged the status quo, advanced modernization across the SAP community, and improved efficiency and collaboration in direct support of the warfighter.

I’m grateful to an exceptional team—one of the most dedicated and determined I’ve had the privilege to work with—and to leadership ( Winston Beauchamp, Keith Hardiman Aaron B., Susan Davenport Jennifer Aquinas-Orozco ) for the trust and empowerment to move the Department in the right direction.

As one chapter ends, another begins. I’m honored to join the Department of War CIO Office, contributing to the cyber and IT capabilities that strengthen the resilience and security of Golden Dome. I look forward to continuing work that advances secure, reliable digital foundations critical to our national security mission.
