FY 23 Heating Up: $100M IN DHS Financial Systems Modernization support tasks to be competed in June

Update: It appears the first month of Summer 2023 will be quite busy for the Prime bidders and key subs on this $1B Enterprise Financial System Integrator (EFSI) IDIQ as the Department of Homeland Security recently announced that two 5-year tasks, one to help upgrade the financial management systems (FMS) and enable financial systems modernization efforts for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the other for the Cube Component’s (CISA, DMO, ICE, S&T, and USCIS), are expected to be released on this multiple-award BPA in mid-June. The two tasks are valued at greater than $20M and $100M respectively.

There were 7 known awardees who secured a Prime position in Q1 of FY 20 on the 10-year EFSI BPA, a contract vehicle that is intended to provide support services for DHS’s transition to standard financial, procurement, and asset management business processes, to include providing a range of program management, system integration and implementation, data cleansing, preparation and staging, service desk operations, system operations and maintenance, and training services. Known Prime awardees include Savantage Federal, CACI, GovCIO, CGI Federal, Accenture, GDIT, and IBM.
