The contractor lead and contract personnel shall work closely with the government to support the day-today operations of the system. The Radiology Department Head has overall authority of the systems, with the government in charge of day-to-day operations. The contractor personnel shall document and report all requirements and deficiencies to the government Radiology PACS Administrator. The contract personnel shall perform diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques to support the PACS network, RIS Interface, Database, core server and workstation environment, data flow and storage, system security, updates and patches, tele-radiology, and patient studies. The contract personnel shall utilize software and/or applications to support the updates to PACS computer systems including the development and use of scripts, and programs to support the effectiveness of updating the enterprise environment. Any changes to the system, which includes automatic updates, group policies, patches, scripts, etc.,
must be completed in a manner that has been validated by the PACS manufacturer or the DHA PACS Office prior to implementation. If requested/required, a daily report shall be provided to the government Radiology PACS Administrator to help in the development and maintenance of all system operating procedures (SOP).
