TekSynap Opens Boston Office and TekXelerate™ Lab, Strengthening Air Force Infrastructure Modernization Efforts

TekSynap, a leading systems integrator in national security and federal information technology, celebrated the grand opening of its new Boston-area office with a ribbon-cutting event in Burlington. The milestone marks TekSynap’s fifth office nationwide and highlights the company’s expanding footprint supporting U.S. Air Force missions.

A Community Honors Innovation and Commitment

Local civic leaders, Chamber of Commerce representatives, regional Air Force personnel, and state officials gathered to mark the occasion, underscoring the significance of TekSynap’s investment in the Greater Boston area. The event exemplified renewed collaboration between industry, government, and military communities.

Introducing the Boston TekXelerate™ Lab

A central feature of the new facility is the launch of TekSynap’s second TekXelerate™ Lab, an advanced innovation hub for modeling, prototyping, and rapid testing of emerging technologies. Designed as a virtual sandbox environment, TekXelerate™ enables the secure experimentation and validation of new operational solutions before wider deployment. The lab offers state-of-the-art capabilities, including immersive visualization, AI-enabled analytic tools, and DevSecOps environments that expand the company’s innovation reach beyond its original Reston, VA lab.

Accelerating Air Force IT Modernization

The Boston expansion aligns with TekSynap’s role as a prime awardee under the U.S. Air Force Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) IDIQ, securing a pivotal position in modernizing the Air Force’s IT infrastructure. Under the leadership of Dean Cibotti, Vice President of Air Force Programs, TekSynap will increase its capacity to address aging infrastructure, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and mission-driven technology needs. Cibotti, recently appointed to this role, brings over 30 years of leadership supporting Air Force and defense clients.

Rooted in Culture and Community

TekSynap continues to earn recognition for its commitment to workplace excellence and employee value. It was recently ranked #9 on USA TODAY’s 2025 Best Places to Work and earned Great Place to Work Certification for 2025. These accolades reflect a strong culture of trust, innovation, and collaboration, which are cornerstones of the company’s success in supporting federal missions.

Vision for the Future

With the Boston office and TekXelerate™ Lab now operational, TekSynap is uniquely poised to amplify innovation and advance IT modernization for the U.S. Air Force and other federal clients. The enhanced regional capabilities reinforce the company’s dedication to delivering mission solutions with agility and operational excellence.
