VetPro is a custom-developed government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software system that VA uses as a central repository to continuously track and update credential information of over 250,000 actively appointed healthcare providers across individual VA medical facilities. To ensure VetPro’s complex technical architecture can meet VA’s evolving needs, CFT has been tasked to support VetPro system requirements analysis (business, technical, functional, design), help desk operations, engineering work product validation, system testing, risk management, system and training documentation, and reporting.
“VetPro has greatly reduced the time and level of paperwork necessary to collect and store essential credentialing information,” said CFT CEO Russell Frutiger. “We look forward to supporting VA’s efforts to not only maintain VetPro’s technical requirements but also ensure complete, detailed, and up-to-date technical documentation is available to VA developers and stakeholders as provider credentialing and privileging needs evolve.”
