CDC Chief Data Officer Alan Sim takes role with Leidos

In sharing the news Alan posted:

As promised on my previous post, I’m excited to share the next chapter of my journey. I’ve joined Leidos as Vice President and Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO).

Wrapping up my first week, I’m energized by the people I’ve met and the incredible opportunity to help shape the company’s strategic direction in enterprise data, intelligent automation, and AI adoption—including agentic AI.

My focus will be on addressing high-impact challenges at the corporate level: developing a modern data platform, streamlining processing, improving linkage and integration, and designing analytical and AI-ready data products that drive insight and smarter decision-making. A key priority will be empowering our workforce by freeing them from manual, inefficient tasks—replacing friction with intuitive tools and innovative capabilities.

I’m grateful for the warm welcome from my Leidos colleagues and excited to partner with them in this next chapter. Thank you to everyone who reached out with kind messages and support – let’s continue the dialogue and exchange of ideas/solutions!
